At Bread & More, our journey began not with a business plan, but with a deeply personal mission: healing through food. In 2008, I was diagnosed with Lupus, a condition that brought years of pain and medication. My husband and I were determined to find a better way—one that didn’t rely solely on prescriptions. We explored holistic approaches and quickly realized that the food we were eating was often a trigger for my symptoms. ​ That’s when we discovered sourdough. For the past three years, I’ve lived without the need for medication, and my Lupus symptoms have significantly subsided. Of course, there have been minor flare-ups, but my life is unrecognizable compared to what it used to be. The simple act of changing what we put into our bodies—removing processed foods and embracing real, wholesome ingredients—has transformed our health and well-being.
